Share discount codes on your Surface page that visitors can copy with one click.

What is a coupon block?

A coupon block displays a discount code on your Surface page that visitors can copy with a single click. It is designed for sharing promo codes, referral codes, or any text-based offer with your audience.

Creating a coupon block

Click the + button in the builder and select Coupon. Fill in the following details:

  • Title -- a short description of the offer (e.g., "20% off your first order").
  • Coupon Code -- the actual code visitors will copy (e.g., "SAVE20").
  • URL -- a link to the store or product where the code can be used.
  • Company -- optionally, the name of the brand or store offering the deal.

How visitors use coupons

When visitors see a coupon block on your page, they can tap the code to copy it to their clipboard instantly. No selecting text, no highlighting, no long-pressing -- just one tap and the code is ready to paste at checkout.

The block also links to the relevant store, so visitors can go straight from copying the code to using it.

Setting an icon

Like link blocks, coupon blocks can display an icon next to the title. This is a good place for the brand logo or store icon so visitors immediately recognize the offer.

When to use coupon blocks

Coupon blocks work well for:

  • Affiliate codes -- share referral discounts and earn commissions.
  • Your own promotions -- offer discounts on your products or services.
  • Exclusive deals -- give your audience access to codes they cannot find elsewhere.
  • Limited-time offers -- pair a coupon with scheduling to make it appear and disappear on a set timeline.

Primary styling

You can mark a coupon as Primary to give it bold, attention-grabbing styling. This is useful when you want to spotlight a particular deal above the rest.
